P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Mongolian BBQ Style Sauce
P.F. Chang's® Home Menu Sauce has reached my blog!
- My first impression was the packaging looked great and the recipe that followed sounded amazing however, I was curious if my picky eaters in my household would enjoy this?
- This recipe was easy to follow! It was simple to make Mongolian BBQ Style beef and or chicken. The recipe took approx. 30 minutes for prepping and cooking. Quick and easy. (Recipe as follows)
- The flavor and taste was a success! I was surprised to see that my husband 3 children enjoyed it as much as myself! It’s the perfect blend of herbs and garlic and other flavors. Unlike any other. This recipe made plenty leaving us with left overs and I later used these left overs on tortillas with extra sauce for dipping.
Directions:
- 1 pound boneless beef top sirloin or flank steak, cut into thin strips
- 3/4 cup P.F. Chang's® Home Menu Mongolian Style BBQ Sauce, divided
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
- 1 cup sliced fresh button mushrooms
- 5 green onions, cut into 3-inch strips
- Place steak in zippered plastic bag with 1/2 cup Mongolian Style BBQ sauce, press air out of bag and close. Refrigerate 4 hours, or overnight.
- Heat vegetable oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add mushrooms; cook and stir about 2 minutes. Add beef to skillet, leaving extra marinade in bag. Cook until almost browned, about 3 minutes.
- Add remaining 1/4 cup Mongolian Style BBQ sauce; cook until beef is just done and sauce is thickened, about 1 minute. Stir in green onions, remove from heat and serve.
